The most important event in the summer calendar saw 138 players come together for the chance to win the numerous prizes up for grabs.
Such is the prestige of the tournaments organised by El Chaparral, it is now normal to welcome players from other communities including Madrid, Melilla and the Balaerics.

The individual stableford event began with an early shotgun start that was followed by a very
intense and competitive day of golf on a course in perfect condition. In the first category,
António José Ruiz got the winwith 36 points, the same score as Gary Orr, and a point ahead of third placed Francisco Pecino. In the second category Luis Martín, thanks to a lower handicap, was victorious with 40 points ahead of Thomas Sardon.

The female category was dominated by english player Ann Sultse with 36 points, two ahead of local player Susana Espejo.

Finally, in the scratch category Francisco Pérez Holgado won with a commendable 26 points, ahead of Jose Luis Gross Alesanco. Commendable scores on a very demanding golf course.
The awards lunch ceremony that followed included the traditional raffle with many gifts for the participants.
