Summer Mix Interclub 2017<\/h1>\n

Congratulations to El Chaparral Golf Club<\/a> members team for the victory on the 1st match of the 8th Edition of the Summer Mix Interclub 2017 competition.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\nFor the last 8 years, several golf clubs on the Costa del Sol have taken part in a Summer Mixed Interclub competition. The competition requires each club to have a team of six mixed pairs, who play every fortnight at the courses of the participating clubs (Atalaya, El Chaparral, El Para\u00edso, La Cala and Santa Mar\u00eda).<\/p>\n

The best four scores from each club are then taken into account and points awarded to the clubs for their ranking in total points score.<\/p>\n

\nEl Chaparral Golf Club won the match with 163 points, second was La Cala with 139, meaning Chaparral are in a great position to retain the trophy.<\/p>\n

\nApart from the competitive nature of the event, it is also a very social occasion, with a meal, drinks and prize presentations after every match. The event at El Chaparral Golf Club was very successful and all visitors were very positive about the organisation, facilities and food on the event.<\/p>\n
