VII Open City of Fuengirola<\/h3>\n

One more year, El Chaparral Golf Club<\/a> has hosted the traditional tournament of the City of Fuengirola, commemorating the 7th edition.<\/p>\n

Nearly a hundred players gathered in the beautiful Mijas tour, where expectations were very high, as many players had good chances of becoming the trophy winner.<\/p>\n

The splendid weather and not a breath of wind all morning, something quite unusual in this course, helped the participants, who also enjoyed a field in excellent state. Thus, the conditions were perfect to demonstrate all the potential and desire to win that everyone had.<\/p>\n

As expected, the final classification in the first category was tight. The winner, Yaan Acosta, with 37 points, was only one point ahead of Maria del Carmen Noguero, her nearest rival. Mari Carmen was followed by the players Alfredo Ben\u00edtez Herrera, Juan Jos\u00e9 Holgado Garc\u00eda, Ra\u00fal Calvo Garc\u00eda and Jer\u00f3nimo Calvo Rosa.<\/p>\n

In the second category Rafael Ruiz Rando stood in first place with 37 points, followed by Francisco Morales Cort\u00e9s and Patricia Zimmermann with 34 points.<\/p>\n

Remarkably, the top nine competitors were only separated by three points, which shows the rivalry between the players to qualify as high as possible in the table.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

After completion of the tournament, all participants gathered in the Club House for lunch and enjoyed the awards ceremony and the usual raffle.<\/p>\n
