Chaparral Golf Club hosts the Callaway Tournament<\/h1>\n

For the second year in a row, the prestigious golf brand Callaway<\/a> chose Chaparral Golf Club, in Mijas, Costa del Sol to celebrate their tournament. The first edition last year was a success and once again this year, the whole event was prepared with an excellent organization and service.<\/p>\n

Its ideal location and the easy access to Chaparral Golf Club, between La Cala de Mijas and Fuengirola, helped the players to be prepared in time for the start of the tournament. After collecting their score cards, the personnel of Chaparral escorted the players to the starting positions of the 18 hole search of the best result in one of the categories in play: First mixed category (handicap up to 17.4), Second mixed category (handicap up to 36) and scratch.<\/p>\n

With a course in a very good condition, designed by Pepe Gancedo (The Picasso of Golf) and a challenging round of 6 pairs 5, six pairs 4, and 6 pairs 3 (the only one on Costa del Sol), the participants could deploy all their golf potential and enjoy the beautiful course with sea and mountain view.<\/p>\n

Once the results were registered, the prizes were handed out:<\/p>\n

In the Scratch category<\/strong>, Salvador Gonzalez Mart\u00edn won with 34 points, three points behind the second placed Jordan Anthony.<\/p>\n

In the first category<\/strong> was champion Manuel Mart\u00edn Lara with 41 points, followed by Jos\u00e9 Antonio Benavides and R. Fernandez-Villamor.<\/p>\n

In the Second Category<\/strong> Alexander Krivchenkov won with 42 points with Francisco Araujo, and Agustin Moreno in second place.<\/p>\n

After enjoying the After Golf, the best classified collected their trophies and prizes, finishing the magnificent day with the traditional raffle of golf material and spectacular gifts for many of the participants.<\/p>\n
