Chaparral Golf Club attends the IGTM 2018, in Slovenia (Ljubiana).

Between the 15th and 18th of October 2018, Chaparral Golf Club and its Managing Director, Domingo Gavira, attended the IGTM (International Golf Travel Market) held in Slovenia.
The fair is considered to be the most recognized event for the golf sector on the international market.

Each year professionals from the golf travel industry and international journalist visit the fair, representing more than 65 countries and 400 golf tour operators, who together manage 80% of the world market in this segment of tourism.

After an intense week of networking, promoting both Costa de Sol as a destination and Chaparral´s own products and golf packages together with the partner golf courses and hotels, the highlight was definitely when Costa del Sol was awarded for “Best European Golf destination” by the International Association of Golf Tour Operators (IAGTO), to which 2,716 international golf tour operators belong.

Chaparral would like to thank Tourism Costa del Sol for its support to the golf sector, working with a strategic focus on achieving optimal management of seasonality and which now, thanks to this award, receives a great boost to continue the labour.
