III edition ”Chappie” Trophy

The 26 of December celebrated the 3rd edition of “Chappie” Trophy

Chappie was the adopted mascot of El Chaparral and he could be seen every day either in the Car Park or on the course meeting and greeting both Members & Visitors and we suspect eating his own body weight in food each day.

Unfortunately he succumbed to injuries he received from a wild board earlier this year.

The “Chappie” Trophy was a team event, Past captain ( hugh Melia) vs New captain (Nick Cripps), won by Past captain team, with an overall score of 4-2 points in a team event 4 ball better ball match play.

After competition all members enjoyed meal and drinks on the club house.
