Designed by the legendary Spanish architect PepeGancedo in the heart of the Costa del Sol, and the only layout comprising six par-threes, six parfours and six par-fives, El Chaparral Golf Club has just completed a major renovation of its pro shop under the management and supervision of Holiday Golf.
As to be expected when this leading Marbella-based golf distribution company is involved, the result has been spectacular. “We worked on a newly designed project with Holiday Golf some time ago,” explains club manager Domingo Gavira, “with the aim of improving our service and further enhancing the club’s quality standards. “And now we’ve carried out this complete transformation of the pro shop, radically changing the distribution, panelling, decor, lighting, colour, etc. We have created two different areas, one for reception and client service, and the other for the boutique – a particularly special boutique, separated but integrated into the whole area. All of this enables us to provide much more personalised and meticulous service. What we were seeking with this renovation was a change of image and style, to make the space fresher and more dynamic, and I believe we have achieved that.
“Of course we also wanted to add a more professional touch to our shop, enabling us to boost sales – in just the short time we have been open they have increased by 37 per cent compared with last year – as well as client satisfaction. We’ve achieved both of these objectives.”
