Since the beginning of the summer of 2020, Chaparral Golf embarked on a new project, seeking its own energy self-sufficiency. After several studies and investigations, the Club decided to install photovoltaic panels, becoming an environmentally friendly company and smarter energy consumers, making its own sustainable Club House.

Showing the company’s commitment to the environment, Chaparral decided to adhere to the initiative “Integrated National Energy and Climate Plan 2021-2030” and the “Energy Saving and Efficiency Strategy”.

Spain is known worldwide for its good climate and for being the « country of the sun ». According to the data collected, throughout the year our location usually exceeds 2,800 hours of sunshine, which guarantees that the Club produces and consumes 100% green energy. Chaparral Golf Club is located in the heart of the Costa del Sol, an ideal environment to invest in sustainable energy.
