Chaparral Golf Club inaugurates the new Driving Range
Chaparral Golf Club has positioned itself and has reached a new era in the Club. The last investment carried out by the club, the integral remodelling of the driving range has reached its culmination. The Chaparral driving range is now ready to host a wide range of activities and, thanks to its unbeatable geographical location and excellent facilities, it will in all likelihood become one of the best training areas in Europe.
The facilities have a structure divided into two levels and 2 areas; the hitting area and a players’ passage area. The lower level has 12 individual mats, where artificial turf has recently been installed in the hitting area, integrating the mats with the surroundings. In addition, artificial turf has been installed in the players’ area next to high tables with stools to offer one of the best training experiences on the Costa del Sol.
The upper surface has a new 70-metre long Tee Line made of the best materials on the market. The Club chose the Turf PA XL Tee Turf, made of top quality Nylon (Polyamides). The new Tee Line is designed to optimise the playability and training of the players by obtaining the same sensations as training on natural grass.
The practice area has LED lighting both in the shooting area and in the ball drop area, making it one of the few facilities on the Costa del Sol with night lighting. Thanks to the high power Led lights of 100 and 200 W, we offer the player a perfect visibility for the practice of golf night time.
Chaparral Golf offers all its customers free internet service via WI-FI and a varied menu of snacks to enjoy while training. All orders are served at the table by the club’s catering team.

The 10 new mats feature video cameras and screens that capture and monitor every shot, providing detailed information such as total distance hit, distance of flight, swing, direction and accuracy, providing a valuable feedback tool when practising.
