October synonymous with great tournaments
During the month of October, the two most important professional tournaments of the year will be played in Spain, the Acciona Open de España at the Club de Campo Villa de Madrid and the Andalucía Valderrama Masters.
These two great tournaments belonging to the European circuit will promote high competition and the arrival of important profiles of the world ranking to the capital of Spain and the prestigious town of Sotogrande.
The first tournament will be held from Thursday 6 to Sunday 9 October 2022 at the Villa de Madrid Country Club, which has one of the most prestigious golf facilities in Spain due to its design and location. The course, designed by the golf course architect Javier Arana, has hosted innumerable events on the European Tour, on nine occasions the Club has hosted the ACCIONA Open de España and on another nine the Madrid Open. Tickets are now available and can be purchased from 10 euros (federated and under 16) and 20 euros (general public). Plus, if you don’t want to miss a second of the action on the course, there’s the option of purchasing a ticket for the entire tournament or just for the weekend. The Spanish stars will fight to get back up there, we are sure that Rafa Cabrera will fight to try to revalidate his triumph from last year, Adri Arnaus to collect a trophy that he had at his fingertips last year, and of course, the best the Spanish player of the moment, Jon Rahm who will fight to win his third Spanish Open.
After the Spanish Open and with no time to rest, the players will travel to the prestigious Valderrama course, located in one of the most exclusive urbanizations in the world, Sotogrande. The Andalucía Valderrama Masters has been part of the DP World Tour and Race to Dubai calendar since 2010, it is held in Valderrama, ranked as the number 1 course in Spain and also frequently included in the list of the 100 best courses in the world since 1989.
The twenty-fifth anniversary of the Ryder Cup, that was held 1997 in Valderrama, will be celebrated in Italy from October 13 to 16. During four days of competition, players will fight for a winning position in this prestigious tournament among a great cast of world golf stars.
To enjoy this great event, tickets are offered with individual passes for each day, passes for the four days or passes for the weekend, with special prices for federated members and free access for all those under 13 years of age.
